About this opportunity
You will support the Building Surveyors throughout the development from the initial feasibility assessment through to design and contract administration. Responsibilities will include, conducting surveys and advising clients on building maintenance, management, property legislation and building regulations on a range of building types.

Our Apprenticeship Programme will provide you with the opportunity to study and obtain a Chartered Surveyor Degree level 6 Apprenticeship, whilst gaining hands on experience.
This includes on the job learning, mentorship, professional reviews, a dedicated development team and all the tools and support needed to be successful in your career!
You will follow the Level 6 Chartered Surveyor Apprenticeship Standard. This apprenticeship runs over five years and includes studying for a BSc in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will work towards qualifying as a Chartered Member (MRICS) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
About this opportunity
As an Apprentice you will support the Building Surveyors in the delivery of construction projects for new builds, renovations, and maintenance works – from feasibility through to design, contract administration and on-site delivery to handover. Also working on building surveying services, including surveys, dilapidation advice and party wall advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of feasibility studies for various projects.
- Help create cost plans and budget estimates.
- Support the development of designs and detailed specifications for construction projects.
- Prepare and assist with submissions for planning and building regulation approvals.
- Contribute to the preparation of tender documentation and assist in managing the tender process.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support with producing detailed specifications, drawings, and schedules of works for construction projects.
- Carry out site inspections of live construction projects to assess progress and quality.
- Evaluate and provide reports on tenders submitted for projects.
- Support the administration of construction contracts, ensuring compliance with agreements and timelines.
- Undertake various surveys, including condition surveys and Schedules of Condition Surveys.
- Assist with party wall surveying duties and related tasks.
- Provide dilapidations advice, conduct dilapidations assessments, and engage in negotiations with other parties.
- You will have the opportunity to train and use drones for survey work, expanding your skill set.
- Utilize 360° digital reality capture technology for site monitoring and reporting.
