  • About this opportunity

    The IT integration PM act as the point of contact for client and other stakeholders. During the Construction of Data Center projects, the IT integration PM will be responsable for all services required for successfully delivery of the respective project.
     
    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives
    • Positively engaging with customers and developing, growing and maintaining customer relationships
    • Delivering high quality services and deliverables ensuring that services meet our Customer’s requirements.
    • Identify, document and manage the construction phasing deliverables of the above systems and related CSA and MEP deliverables.
    • Manage, and ensure compliance with the telecom material procurement process
    • Report the progress
    • Manage telecom installer and general contractor compliance
    • Coordinate the Client snagging, handover and issue close out processes
    • Create, update and utilise acceptance “smart form” for the acceptance of beneficial use spaces and systems
    • Provide scheduling input and guidance regarding proposed design solutions, change orders, optioneering and scheduling proposals that may affect or improve committed project milestones.
    • Continuous self-appraisal, compilation, and cross regional peer sharing of Integration lessons learned and improvements throughout the construction project.
    • Participate in the change management process and change justification
    • Provide input regarding proposed project phasing changes or delays, which may affect the project committed deliverables and offer potential design solutions/phasing alternatives to mitigate same.
    • Co-ordinate the development of the security installation, approval of physical security guarding requirements
    • Co-ordinate and manage the timely procurement
    • Be aware of and co-ordinate Integration scopes accordingly in order to aid and not impede the commissioning process.
    • Perform and record regular site installation quality reviews and co-ordinate handover.
    • Manage and own the turnover to operations process per area or facility depending on the project delivery schedule/model.
    • Co-ordination of the facility partial, or complete, lockdown process.
    • Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance.

  • Who we’re looking for:

    Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills

    • 10+ years of professional experience in the systems integration field
    • Construction and on-site experience 
    • Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
    • Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.
    • Excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills
    • Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Fluent in Spanish and English
