    Assistant to the Construction Execution Management (Asistencia a Dirección de Ejecución de Obra) supports all the scope of DEO activities of the construction projects, ensuring compliance with technical, legal, and contractual requirements. This role involves close collaboration with the Construction Execution Director to monitor on-site activities, coordinate with contractors, and maintain project documentation.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Supporting the Construction Execution Director in delivering project objectives.
    • Assisting in supervising construction activities to ensure alignment with project plans, specifications, and timelines.
    • Supporting the Construction Execution Director in conducting regular site inspections to verify quality standards and safety compliance.
    • Tracking progress against milestones and reporting any deviations or delays to the Director for timely resolution.
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project records, including site diaries, inspection reports, and material certifications.
    • Preparing and compiling technical documentation required for project approvals and handovers, ensuring compliance with Spanish building regulations.
    • Assisting in drafting progress reports and presentations for internal teams and external stakeholders.
    • Acting as a liaison between the Construction Execution Director, contractors, architects, and other project stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication.
    • Supporting the organisation of site meetings, taking minutes and following up on action points as directed.
    • Assisting in resolving on-site issues by coordinating with relevant parties and escalating complex matters to the Director.
    • Ensuring that all construction activities adhere to health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and contractual obligations.
    • Supporting the Director in verifying that materials and workmanship meet the required specifications and standards.
    • Assisting in managing change requests or variations, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are followed.
    • Remaining in the remit of your role.
     
  • About You

  • Who we’re looking for:

    Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills

    • Experience in construction project support roles in Spain under similar regulatory frameworks.
    • Knowledge of national technical requirements applied to the construction sector.
    • Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Ability to work as part of a team.
    • Availability to work as a free-lance with exclusive dedication to the project during 22 months. 
    • Immediate availability
    • Proficiency in Spanish.

    Qualifications

    • B.S. in Building Engineering, Architecture or similar
