    About this opportunity
     
    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Timely co-ordination, planning, management, writing and completion of the allocated sections of bid submissions.
    • Review of RFPs, client requests whether written or verbal.
    • Responsible for reviewing the submission against client requirement.
    • Review and proofreading bid submissions for quality and accuracy.
    • Ensure the quality of the response meets the company standards.
    • Editi/re-write responses received from technical team to ensure they mee the criteria of an ‘excellent’ response.
    • Develop a creative approach to the writing and presentation of bids.
    • Pro-actively provide strategic advice to technical teams on producing a winning tender.
    • Support bid managers in storyboarding workshops.
    • Produce clear answer templates for technical authors.
    • Build internal and external relationships with individuals associated with the bid process to ensure their input enhances the quality of bids.
    • Identifying opportunities to enhance and improve the bid process, ensuring that best practice is implemented and that our pitch resources are used effectively,
    • consider and suggesting new/alternative ideas – working with the technical teams as necessary.
    • Assist in maintaining the team’s internal reporting requirements – e.g. bid aftercare, trackers etc.
    • Maintain a bid store/ database system including all bid and marketing collateral.
    • Engage with the wider business to ensure that communication of all new tender opportunities. are channeled through the bid team from the outset;
    • Compile, update and maintain a library of company standard tender documentation.
    • Support, implement and roll out new pitch system and bid process tools.
    • Support in championing the role of the bid team around the company and dealing with ad-hoc queries.
  • About You

  • Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills

    • Minimum two years of experience in proposals
    • Degree in a relevant discipline 
    • Strong organizational and project management skills 
    • An understanding of professional services and/or the building/property industry preferred
    • Demonstrable experience of successfully managing bids 
    • Experience of contributing to and delivering sizable bids 
    • Ability to demonstrate creativity and innovation through the production of bespoke client documentation 
    • Ability to plan and execute bid planning workshops and kick-off meetings with multiple attendees
    • Highly experienced in Microsoft office suite, with exceptional Word and PowerPoint formatting skills 
    • Experience in Adobe InDesgin and/or Canva is an added value
    • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Arabic (mandatory)
    • A proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic and determined bid professional 
    • Excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation skills in order to create, review, and edit copy, ensuring consistent standard in line with company branding and style.
    • A team player and effective communicator able to establish and maintain harmonious and professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
    • Work on own initiative, and to an exceedingly high quality
    • Able to multi-task and work to tight deadlines in high pressure situations 
    • possess strong organizational and project management skills 
    • Flexible, results oriented and keen to take responsibility 
    • Manager delivery of multiple team members and internal/external stakeholders.
