Project Engineer - Civil

• Support the project team in review of construction methodologies proposed by contractors, especially for technically sensitive areas (e.g., equipment foundations, embedded services).
• Assist in coordination meetings with design consultants, MEP specialists, and vendors during the construction readiness stage, to flag execution-level concerns.
• Based full-time at the construction site, supporting both Civil / MEP works in coordination with Project Coordinator.
• Collaborate with Project Coordinator and discipline-specific engineers to coordinate daily activities of multiple contractors handling Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting works.
• Review and validate daily manpower deployment submitted by contractors; ensure actual availability on site and escalate deviations.
• Plan and issue daily work fronts to Civil and MEP contractors in alignment with micro-level schedules derived from the master plan.
• Monitor progress of work packages and report slippages, constraints, and mitigation plans.
• Liaise with the Project Coordinator to integrate data from Civil and MEP fronts into unified daily progress reports.
• Monitor contractor compliance to HSE protocols across all trades; highlight unsafe practices for immediate rectification.
• Review construction drawings and ensure contractors are executing works in full compliance with latest issued drawings — Civil structural elements, MEP services layouts, and shop drawings.
