  • About this opportunity 
     
    As part of the Project Management team, BIM Manager is responsible for the correct and efficient management of the information, related to Buildings construction projects.
     
    This role is site-based in Sines.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Overseeing the management and coordination of BIM data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
    • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of BIM processes, decisions, and changes, ensuring transparency and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Advising and assisting Project Management and/or Cost Management teams with BIM model content.
    • Analysing the main contents of the informative documentation and carry out preliminary verification.
    • Analysing and insuring the accuracy of budget information.
    • Checking preliminary models.
    • Monitoring of information flows and verifying the consistency of the model.
    • Assuring the quality of BIM model.
    • Ensuring that all construction-related data is accurately captured and integrated into the BIM model.
    • Verifying that the BIM model is prepared for handover, including all relevant data for operation and maintenance.
    • Compiling and delivering comprehensive handover documentation, including as-built drawings, equipment specifications, and maintenance schedules, derived from the BIM model.
    • Delivering a high quality service which ensures that services meet our client’s requirement.
    • Participating in preparation of bids for services.
    • Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or will arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance.

  • About You

  • Who we’re looking for:

    Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills

    • Proven experience in BIM management function in large construction projects - industrial buildings or real estate sector.
    • Experience working for data centres projects is desirable. 
    • Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
    • Cohesive knowledge of construction methods, materials and legislation impacting on building contracts.
    • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written – and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work as part of a team.
    • Detail-oriented
    • Competent ICT skills, with a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in BIM software.
    • Proficiency in English and Portuguese. 
    • Availability to work in Sines 5 days per week. 
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
