We have an excellent job opening for a quantity surveyor or construction cost management professional to join our growing Built Asset Solutions service. Joining our Nottingham team, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing cost management advice and services for a national client as a key member of our dedicated client team.
This is a great opportunity to join an established team of constructions specialists who can enhance your skills and knowledge, supporting your professional development and career progression. You'll gain exposure to full project lifecycles, working on a range of fit-out, refurbishment and replacement projects across a large commercial property portfolio.
This position will enable you to develop positive and rewarding relationships with your clients and stakeholders as a key point of contact in the team for project cost advice and guidance.
Your Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Cost management of reactive and planned management projects for capital works programmes
- Budget management, including cost and budget performance reviews & reports
- Request and review of contractor cost estimates
- Cost negotiations and payment approvals
- Management and development of stakeholder, contractor and consultant relationships
- Best practice cost advice to operational teams
