To support to growing needs of our clients, we are seeking to recruit highly motivated Senior Commercial Managers to play a pivotal role in the development, challenge and assurance of costs.

Your day to day could involve:

• Provide hands-on commercial input into the progressive development of costs within the programme.
• Influence works requirements, cost build-ups and commercial assumptions as they evolve.
• Guide the programme on procurement strategy, contractual alignment and value-for-money outcomes.
• Support delivery of commercial assurance, reviewing estimates, assumptions and value drivers.
• Provide structured commercial analysis that strengthens assurance outcomes and decision-making.
• Bridge the gap between cost development and assurance, ensuring context and rationale are clearly understood.

Who we're looking for:

• Ideally be HNC, HND or Degree qualified in a Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Construction Law, or similar / relevant discipline, or in some case applicants with an alternative background (e.g.: Engineering) may be considered.
• Must have experience within the Construction environment or engineering discipline and relevant experience within Cost Management, experience in the Nuclear / Civil engineering / Engineering (Including Service contracting) sector is essential.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as a methodical way of thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience across level of development processes.  
• Demonstratable experience with cost assurance on major, complex programmes.
• Experience operating forms of contract, including NEC3 and NEC4.
• Professional qualifications and/or membership of the RICS, CIOB, APM, AcostE or other relevant Chartered Institute are desired, and will be supported if not already obtained.
