Job Description:
• Perform quantity take-off for all construction items using AutoCAD based on project
specifications.
• Maintain and update the drawing register, ensuring accuracy in drawing names,
revisions, dates, and availability.
• Read and interpret construction drawings (plans and sections) to support cost
estimation processes.
• Provide input for cost reports, ensuring accurate and timely financial data submission.
• Understand and apply construction methodology and sequencing to support accurate
cost management.
• Assist in preparing the Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) with minor supervision, ensuring
alignment with project requirements.
• Conduct rate analysis for labor, materials, and equipment to support accurate
budgeting and cost forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), contributing to
effective cost control and quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate with pre- and post-contract teams to support cost planning, procurement,
and project delivery.
• Contribute to the development of project budgets by analyzing material, labour,
equipment, and overhead costs.
• Assist in maintaining cost control systems, ensuring all financial data is updated and
accurate.
• Help identify and report cost variances, providing early warnings of potential overruns
or issues.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, including cash flow forecasts and cost analyses for
stakeholders.
• Work closely with the procurement team to ensure purchases align with budget
constraints and project timelines.
