What will I be doing?

We are looking to recruit an Associate Director to play a key role on growing our Health Sector offering following significant investment into the team. 

We are looking to recruit an Associate Director - Cost Management to partner with clients on the capital's most complex and high-value projects.

This is a senior role and will be responsible for managing costs and budgets of construction projects. From early cost advice to settlement of the final account.

Key responsibilities will include –
  • Positively engaging with Customers and developing, growing and maintaining Customer relationships.
  • Managing projects to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the business procedures.
  • Preparing and presenting order of cost estimates and option studies.
  • Cost planning.
  • Advising on and implementing procurement strategies.
  • Preparing tender documentation, managing the process, including designing marking schemes.
  • Providing technical advice on legal and contractual issues relating to construction projects.
  • Administrating contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent.
  • Mentoring and coaching employees to their full potential.
  • Identifying new business development opportunities and driving growth across the Business Units activities.
You will also aid junior employees through mentoring and coaching to enable them to reach their full potential.

About You

What do I need to be successful?

We are interested in speaking to candidates who have an extensive background in Cost Management in a variety of sectors. You must be well acquainted with Cost Management techniques and have sound industry knowledge.

Experience on high-value projects within a consultancy environment is strongly desirable.

To be successful in this role, you will need: 

  • To be degree qualified 

Hold or be willing to work towards 

  • MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) 
  • MCIOB (Member of the Chartered Institute of Building).
