About The Role

The Gleeds business in Africa has enjoyed much success and growth in recent years, and we are looking to recruit a Document controller with experience in construction projects in one or more of the following sectors. [Industrial Projects, OR Top notch residential, OR Hospitality, OR shopping malls].
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Oversee the organization, distribution, and maintenance of project documents.
  • Ensure all project documents are up-to-date and maintain version control.
  • Maintain a systematic and secure record-keeping system for project documentation.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams by distributing relevant documents.
  • Conduct quality checks on documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Manage access to project documents, controlling distribution and permissions.
  • Manage the archiving and retrieval of project documents as per project requirements.
 
 

About You

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate understanding of the DC responsibilities, familiarity with DC tools (including relevant electronic systems), and previous experience in a similar role.

  • Relevant degree or previous extensive experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with relevant electronic systems of DC.
  • Very good written and oral communication skills is a must.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English language.
  • Ability to contribute to problem-solving skills are important to demonstrate.
  • Collaborative attitude and teamwork spirit.
