About The Role

Gleeds is an independent global Construction consultancy, specializing in Program and Project Management, Project Controls and Strategic Advisory. We have an opening for a Construction Project Coordinator to support a utility client in the Chicago area.

Some Responsibilities include:
  • Scheduling and/or coordination of work activities or operations support
  • Communicate with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Document and process control
  • Reporting and data entry

About You

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel and SharePoint
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills across all organization levels
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks under the pressure of deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Ability to effectively communicate project details to all project stakeholders
  • Ability to take the project lead when required in support of the Project Manager
  • Construction, project/resource management, engineering, accounting or operations experience in utilities, gas distribution or related field
  • Knowledge and experience with cross bore impingement discovery, remediation, and program administration
  • Familiar with permit acquisition process
