Our Energy and Infrastructure teams specialise in delivering projects worldwide within Nuclear, Defence, Rail, Roads, Highways, Water, Utilities, Ports and Renewables.

We are recruiting for a Associate Director to join our Energy team to lead our works within the Oil Refinery sector as they look to transition to more renewable sources of energy. Our team is dynamic, innovative and client-focused, supported by an inclusive and fun company culture.

In this role you will be working closely with clients to manage their current contracts and supply chain in a complex refinery environment. As well as delivering the here and now you will start to look at evaluating, recommending and implementing strategic procurement, processes and procedures for their future renewable works.

This role is focused on our UK wide projects, so we are really flexible on location, with a mixture of client site, office & home working.

About You

What we are looking for in our next Associate Director

  • Experience of standard forms of contract, including the NEC suite, and the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 would be beneficial, and candidates personal and communication skills, ambition, drive and energy will be considered equally important to be successful.
  • Working knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
  • Previous working experience within a similar environment such as refinery/oil & gas or petrochemical is essential 
  • Professional qualifications and/or membership of the RICS or the CIPS is desirable. Progress towards this will be supported if not already attained
