About The Role

Gleeds is an independent global Construction consultancy, specializing in Program and Project Management, Project Controls and Strategic Advisory. We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to support various construction and fit out projects led by our New York City office.

Role and Responsibilities (including but are not limited to):

  • Represent Owner’s interest throughout project(s) and manage project risks and minimize exposure.
  • Establishing project objectives, strategy, and scopes.
  • Assist in qualification and selection of contractors.
  • Managing communications with project stakeholders.
  • Meet with program team members on a regular basis to review progress and costs.
  • Estimate development and refinement.
  • Through understanding of cost management practices and Cost variance reporting
  • Managing multiyear projects to annualized budgets.
  • Experience of schedule development, progress, and delivery milestones.
  • Tracking project resource availability.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Review and approval of change orders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports.

About You

The ideal candidate should have at least 3+ years of Project Management experience over construction/tenant improvement projects. Strong communication and organizational skills is a must for this role. PMP Certification would be a plus. Candidates with prior commercial fit out and vertical construction experience would be highly advantageous.
