With the rise in energy bills already being felt it is more important than ever that houses are properly insulated for their occupants. Gleeds retrofit project managers are at the forefront of this. With a huge pipeline of potential business to be done there is plenty of opportunity to thrive in this role.

You will manage retrofit projects and programmes, administer contracts, and advise, interview stakeholders on any issues that may arise.

Other responsibilities include:

• Positively engage with and maintain customer relationships.
• Deliver high quality service and ensure that services meet our customer’s needs.
• Producing reports and information and presenting to customers.
• Identifying new business development opportunities and driving growth across the business units activities
• Managing service delivery for profit.
• Advising directors promptly of any issues and their potential impacts.

What do I need to be successful?

You will need a background in building surveying and/or construction project management. If you can demonstrate knowledge of domestic retrofit then that would be ideal.

You will also need the ability to administer construction contracts and a clear knowledge of legislation impacting building contracts.

Other than that, we are looking for have excellent communication, problem solving and relationship building skills. The ability to absorb complex information and assess needs quickly and also be able to work as part of a team.

It would be desirable for you to have or be working towards one of the following:

• MRICS
• MCIOB

It would be even better if you had:

• Level 2 Understanding Domestic Retrofit NOCN
