Senior Construction Project Manager

What will I be doing?

This role is a very specific senior role based in the construction industry! You MUST have or be working towards one of the below:

  • MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
  • MAPM (Member of the Association for Project Management)
  • MCIOB (Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders)

At Gleeds our project management team are at the coal face of our business. You will positively engage with customers and developing, growing and maintaining our fantastic customer relationships and deliver high quality services and deliverables. All the while ensuring that services meet our customer’s requirements.

You will manage construction projects and programmes, administer contracts, and advise, interview stakeholders on any issues that may arise. You will also always be looking at ways to generate other revenue and develop business.

About You

What do I need to be successful?

As a construction project manager in Gleeds you will need to have experience in a project management role within the construction industry and have a sound knowledge of project manager techniques.

You will also need to be able to administer construction contracts and a clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts.

Other than that, you will need excellent communication skills; the ability to solve problems and negotiate on top of excellent financial and numerical skills and finally you will need a very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

As mentioned above, you will need to have or be working towards the following qualifications:

  • MCIOB (Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders)
